Clay joined the Dunwoody coaching staff in Summer of 2018. Clay is a CrossFit Level 2 Coach, and came to us from CrossFit Discovery in Charleston, SC, where he worked as the Head Coach. Clay is a South Carolina native who graduated from The Citadel in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science. Clay has worked with a large spectrum of athletes from 10 years of age to 85 years old. Clay believes CrossFit is made for everyone, and will help you live long happy and healthy lives.


Glenn Dorris

Glenn is an Atlanta native, former Harvard linebacker, and a former high school and college football coach. He has over three years of CrossFit experience, 15+ years of sport specific training, and loves running races. He loves dogs, hiking, and backpacking. He believes the two keys to fitness are safety and intensity. More than anything, he loves the community that makes CrossFit Dunwoody such a special place. CrossFit Dunwoody is a dream come true for Glenn and he has a passion for helping people realize their fittest self through the service CrossFit Dunwoody provides.

Kelly Madigan

Kelly is a Chicago native who has been in the Atlanta area since July 2013. He has been an educator for 19 years and is currently a school administrator at the elementary school level. He has a teenage son who he loves to workout with. Kelly has been an athlete his whole life, playing and competing in numerous sports at high school and collegiate levels.  Kelly was first introduced to Crossfit in February of 2011 when he walked into a Crossfit to ask a few questions. He signed up for their On-ramp program and through that On-ramp program, Kelly fell in love with Crossfit, but more importantly, with the community that is Crossfit. The rest is history.

Jess Nelson

Jess is a Colorado native who has been in the greater Atlanta area for four years. She is a functional fitness enthusiast, and plans to practice as a Performance Chiropractor in the Dunwoody area beginning April 2018. She has been a lifelong athlete, has done CrossFit for 6 years, and even met her husband at their first CF Box! Jess has expanded her fitness knowledge with kettlebell sport training, competitive indoor rowing, and BIRTHFIT. She has a bachelors degree in Human Nutrition and loves to cook, hike, and love on her two German Wirehaired Pointer dogs in her free time. Her belief is that everyone should live well, be well, and move well because life is an athletic event!
