During this time, we’ll help you feel welcome, provide a quick gym tour, then sit down and talk about next steps. If you choose, we will have you do a short workout so we can set some benchmarks and assess where you are.
KICKSTART PROGRAM
We HIGHLY recommend all novice CrossFitters begin with our KickStart program. Our KickStart program includes two options: Basic and Comprehensive.
Basic KickStart:
- The foundation of knowledge in CrossFit movements, terminology and class structure
- An understanding of variance, functional movements, and levels of intensity and to inspire the confidence to participate in group classes.
Comprehensive KickStart (includes the Basic KickStart plus):
- A movement screen identifying mobility/flexibility limitations
- Tailored instruction based on results of movement screen, with a clear understanding of how to modify movements as needed
- Additional skill work: running technique, breath and bracing
- Two-hour sessions for a more in-depth discussion of needs and instruction
