Clean (1 REP MAX)
Find your 1 Rep Max for Cleans.
Coach will get you sufficiently warmed up. Then move to the barbell.
Spend time with the empty barbell and lighter weights getting warmed up. Perform some squat cleans because in order to maximize your Clean max, you will need to catch the bar low.
Once you get to ‘test’ weights, you get TWO ATTEMPTS at each weight. If you get a weight on your first try, go up. If you miss a weight on your first try, try again. If you miss it again, your previous weight that you got will be your max. This is for your protection, not punishment.
